Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiographer nationwide. We are looking to fill in the radiographer roles all over Malaysia. A Radiographer is responsible for using advanced imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans and MRI scans to take images of the body. The images are used by doctors and specialists to diagnose, monitor and treat various medical conditions. As a Radiographer, you will work with various healthcare professionals and patients, and must have a solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To carry out all imaging procedures and produce quality images of diagnostic value with minimal radiation to patients and staff
• Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect
• Explain to patients and their family the details of a procedure and ways to manage possible side effects
• Perform general radiography and specialized imaging when trained
• Maintain proper record and filing with ensuring confidentiality
• Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment, with proper recording/ filing
• To ensure room temperature/ storage condition required for different imaging equipment
• Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process
• Participate in quality improvement projects of the department and hospital
• Assist in administrative tasks when required

JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATION

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree in Medical Imaging, Radiography, or any related field
• At least 3 years of working experience in related field
• Proficient in operating computerized machines such as X-rays and Ultrasound equipment
• Must have own transport
• Can work under flexible working hours
• Willing to learn, responsible, good interpersonal skills and meticulous.
• Candidates can work in different outlets across Malaysia (based on own choice)
