Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Malaysia, Johor is looking for a Quality Control Supervisor. The qualified candidate will be responsible for overseeing personnel deployment, conducting inspections, and managing quality records. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for personnel deployment and coordination between departments.
  • Host daily meetings for timely communication and quality issue explanations.
  • Supervise inspections and correct QC staff on methods and quality awareness.
  • Review quality records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Manage 5S, calibration, and exception handling of instruments.
  • Conduct personnel training and assessments.
  • Evaluate non-conforming products.
  • Collect and analyze quality data for improvement initiatives.
  • Confirm effectiveness of quality improvements.
  • Assist with audits.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments.
  • Execute tasks assigned by superiors and implement policies.
Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Responsible for personnel deployment within the department and coordination of personnel between departments.
  2. Host daily morning and evening meetings to ensure timely communication of information and explain current quality issues.
  3. Supervise team members to conduct inspections according to relevant standards; promptly correct QC staff on inspection methods and quality awareness.
  4. Review quality records and ensure their completeness and accuracy.
  5. Responsible for 5S management in the area of responsibility, as well as calibration and exception handling of measuring instruments and inspection jigs.
  6. Conduct training and assessment of personnel.
  7. Review and evaluate non-conforming products.
  8. Perform quality data collection and analysis, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Confirm the effectiveness of quality improvements
  10. Assist with customer or system audits.
  11. Communicate and coordinate with other departments.
  12. Carry out tasks assigned by superiors and supervise/implement the execution of company policies and procedures.
