Job summary

A manufacturing company in Kulim, Kedah, is seeking a Quality Control Officer to ensure compliance of incoming materials, perform analytical tests, and assist in developing SOPs. Candidates should hold a Degree or Diploma in a science field, with experience in a QC role being preferred, especially in food manufacturing. The salary range is RM1,800 – RM2,200, with applications due by 15 January 2026.

Job description

Ensure incoming materials comply with work instructions, specifications and complete documentation.

Perform standard analytical techniques and procedures for incoming material testing; prepare approved labels.

Ensure non-conforming materials are properly segregated and labelled.

Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and new testing methods.

Participate in implementation and maintenance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO systems.

Conduct regular production line checks, identify non-conformances, document defects and report to QA team.

Responsible for inspection, maintenance and calibration of measuring tools and equipment.

Report any unusual occurrences to QA.

Perform other duties as assigned.
