Job summary

A reputable food manufacturer in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee production stages of Soy Sauce and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in food science or a related field and 1-2 years of experience in quality control within food manufacturing. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team are essential. Willingness to work weekends and public holidays is required.

  • Oversee Soy Sauce production to ensure quality.
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and follow up on lab results.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Oversee Soy Sauce production stages to uphold consistent quality standards and identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct swab and air monitoring according to the Environmental Monitoring Program
  • Follow up and coordinate with the lab to clarify any abnormal, out-of-specification, or out-of-trend results and gather necessary supporting information
  • Plan, monitor and verify the corrective actions with stakeholder should any out of specification results be detected
  • Perform validation/verification activities of the machine or any fermentation process
  • Assist in tank inspection activities during equipment startup
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping related to quality control activities, inspections, and audits which related to Soy Sauce Fermentation
  • Conduct internal pest control program and coordinate with external pest control service provider on any finding found at fermentation side
  • Any job to be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
  • Diploma and above in food science, Food Technology or related field
  • Have minimum 1-2 years working experience in quality control and supervision in a food manufacturing environment
Requirement & Skills
  • Able to work in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan
  • Able to work overtime on Saturday, Sunday and/or Public Holiday if required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
