Qualifications
- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 1-3 years experience in QC inspection in metal fabrication or related fields.

Job Responsibilities
- Incoming Material Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw metal sheets, coils, and components for thickness, grade, and surface condition.
- Verify supplier certificates, material identification, and lot traceability.
- In-Process Inspection
- Perform dimensional checks after cutting, bending, punching, and forming operations using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Check for burrs, warpage, cracks, scratches, and dents.
- Monitor coating preparation (degreasing, blasting, masking) for compliance.
- Final / Outgoing Inspection
- Inspect powder-coated or painted surfaces for coverage, colour uniformity, gloss level, adhesion, and coating thickness.
- Identify surface defects such as pinholes, fisheyes, orange peel, thin spots, runs, or overspray.
- Verify dimensions and tolerances against engineering drawings.
- Ensure proper labelling, packaging, and pallet stability before shipment.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Record inspection results in QC checklists and maintain inspection logs.
- Report non-conformities to the production and QA team, initiate NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Verify that corrective actions are implemented and effective.
- Compliance & Safety
- Follow ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards as applicable.
- Ensure EHS (Environmental, Health, Safety) guidelines are followed during inspection and handling.
- Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum SPM / Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in QC inspection in metal fabrication, sheet metal production, or powder coating.
