Job summary

A fast-growing food manufacturing company in Johor Bahru seeks a skilled supply chain manager. The role involves managing supply chain activities including procurement and vendor negotiations while ensuring timely delivery of goods. Job description

Managing supply chain activities, including supply/demand planning and procurement with suppliers

Sourcing, selecting and negotiating with supplier/vendor to constantly strive for best pricing, delivery and payment term

Liaise and follow up and ensure on goods delivery/ import shipment schedule with local and overseas Vendors/ Suppliers for products/ goods purchase shipped and delivered on promised dates.

Raise purchase order to supplier/vendor and ensure the quality and delivery performance of supplier/vendoris good and timely.

Liaise wit freight forwarder on shipping and documentation regards to import shipment

Keep track inventory flow to identify stock movement

Handle and maintain ISO documentation related

Review and evaluates the performance of approved suppliers.

Verify, check and confirm correct for all Purchasing Invoices together with shipping documents and submit to Accounts Department for processing payment without delay.

Able to assist superior in plan, organize, lead, control and monitor the procurement processes.

Participate in identify, develop, improve and control Procurement policies, system and practice

Ensure Purchasing documents are properly filed on time and for easily retrieval.

To perform other ad-hoc tasks from time to time assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirement

Candidate who possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management / Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent

Able to read, speak and write Mandarin in order to communicate with overseas suppliers is an advantage

At least 3 years working experience in theFood manufacturing industry is required for this position

Able to work independently to meet tight deadlines, resourceful and multi-task

Ability in problem-solving, strong time management skills with a passion for learning
