[Publishing Center] Esports Marketing Manager

Responsibilities Support the planning and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns for MPL Malaysia, MAL, and other MLBB Esports IPs. This role is hands-on, focused on driving campaigns, coordinating across teams, and ensuring on time delivery. You'll be the driver behind making our marketing plans happen by turning ideas into content, campaigns, and fan engagement moments that bring esports closer to the community.

  • Campaign Execution
  • Execute and support 360 marketing campaigns for MPL MY, MAL, and regional esports events (MSC, M-Series, SEA Games, etc)
  • Coordinate across internal teams (BD, content, PR, broadcast) and vendors to ensure smooth rollout of assets and activations
  • Manage content calendars, campaign timelines, and daily deliverables with quality and accountability
  • Content & Community Management
  • Develop and execute content plans that connect with the MLBB and esports community
  • Manage day-to-day coordination for digital content, community engagement, and fan-led initiatives
  • Collaborate with creators, teams, and restreamers to spark conversations, trends, and fan participation
  • Track content and community performance, using insights to improve future campaigns
  • Sponsor & Event Support
  • Support sponsor activations from briefing to on-site execution in ensuring brand visibility and alignment with campaign narratives
  • Drive fan participation through contests, watch parties, or ticketing promotions
  • Coordinate with teams, talents, and media for campaign amplification across multiple touch-points
Qualifications

You have experience running social media or brand campaigns, working with agencies or creators, and know what it takes to make marketing ideas perform in the real world; passionate about youth culture, gaming, esports, creating fan-first experiences and understand how to speak to communities in a relatable, engaging ways!

  • Having 2–4 years of hands-on marketing experience, ideally in entertainment, lifestyle, or esports;
  • Strong project management and coordination abilities where you are able to stay organized, proactive, and dependable;
  • Comfortable and experienced working with creators, agencies, teams, and fan communities;
  • Action-oriented focusing on driving execution and seeing results;
  • Collaborative and solution-driven, works well with multiple stakeholders;
  • Good to have strong understanding of Malaysian youth culture and online community trends;
  • Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia (spoken/written) — cultural fluency is a plus for fan engagement
