We are seeking an experienced Project/Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a high-impact technology modernisation program. This role demands strong leadership, strategic execution, and exceptional stakeholder management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with organisational objectives.
Preference will be given to Sarawakian candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans aligned with telco strategic priorities and network modernisation objectives, including defining project scopes, requirements, and technical feasibility with key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for technology and modernisation initiatives, managing stakeholder expectations, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth communication across all project parties.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT, Engineering, Network Operations, Regulatory, etc.) and coordinate internal resources and external vendors to deliver projects seamlessly and efficiently.
- Monitor timelines, budget, and scope, conduct periodic progress reviews, identify and mitigate risks early, and resolve technical, operational, or stakeholder issues impacting project performance and service quality.
- Lead continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and compliance gaps, implementing corrective actions, escalating critical matters when necessary, and ensuring all project documentation is complete and audit‑ready.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- At least 8–12 years’ experience in project or program management, with proven success in delivering complex, cross‑functional telco projects.
- Strong track record in stakeholder engagement, vendor management, cross‑departmental collaboration, and effective communication across all organisational levels.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑demand environment.
