Job Objective
As a Project Manager - Concept, you'll be the driving force behind our key projects, working closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute project strategies. Your expertise in project management will ensure our concepts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Responsibilities
1. Project Initiating and Planning
- Initiate the project in cooperation with the business leader and/or relevant BU manager, and identify the project team members.
- To develop and maintain the project management plan including the project breakdown (Initiate the lessons learned document to be completed during the whole project life cycle).
- Collect the business needs and requirements from the BU leader.
- Ensure that technical requirements are defined as per standards, along with relevant BU.
- Design the acceptance and testing plan with Concept Leader.
- Following the local country KPI set.
2. Project Budget and Cost Management
- To work with the Store Leader/BU Leaders on the cost for concept domain and to utilize the cost within the approved budget and ensure its also on cost saving framework.
- To work alongside other BU on as needs basis.
3. Project Execution
- To support to prepare and conduct weekly follow-up meetings with the project core team members including formal minutes of meeting.
- To support the project materials for the executive governance meetings (local country decision making meeting) in cooperation with Concept Leader - if applicable - and the business representative.
- To ensure capacity planning and execution for the project and to adapt to ad hoc needs of the projects.
- To support to coordinate the implementation and roll-out strategy execution.
4. Project Scope Change Management
- To co-Identify the scope changes with the project team members during the whole project life cycle.
- To Report each change request within a formal document to get the approval of the scope changes and related impacts (scope, time, costs, quality) by the project governance.
5. Stakeholder Management
- To co-define and validate with all stakeholders the roles and responsibilities.
- To foster collaboration within the project team and with stakeholders outside the project.
- To communicate project progress and challenges to the team, stakeholders, and manage stakeholders’ expectations.
- To co-Work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure projects objectives are achieved.
6. Project Closing
- To prepare and conduct a closing meeting with the project team members to share the holistic project metrics at completion and review all lessons learned.
- To identify the potential pending actions and develop a plan for the transition to BAU (Business as usual) where applicable.
