Job summary

A construction firm is looking for a qualified Project Manager to oversee multiple ongoing projects located in Selangor and other states. Responsibilities include managing project teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and communicating effectively with clients and contractors. Candidates must have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in construction is advantageous. This position is based in the Head Office with the need to manage projects across various locations.

Job description

The Company is currently having some ongoing Industrialized Building System (IBS) projects in various locations and is also in the verge of finalizing a few new projects in Selangor, Perak, Kedah, Penang, Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Labuan and Johor. Currently, we have vacancies for Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager and Construction Manager positions to be based in Head Office, Putrajaya, Johor, Perlis and other locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Ensure jobs are carried out in accordance with required specifications, quality, safety standards and achieve optimal speed of construction.
• Plan, organize, lead, control and monitor project teams to achieve the required objectives.
• Liase with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams ensuring excellent communication between all parties.
• Coordinate with designers and consultants to ensure conformance of structural and architectural design.
• Coordinate with mould fabricator on mould design and fabrication.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system for the projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with passion for details, resourceful and computer literate.
• Experience in Building Construction and/or Precast Construction Works is an added advantage.

Candidate shall be based in Head Office and other locations as stated above and is expected to manage a few projects simultaneously.
