An Acoustic Panel Project Manager oversees projects from initiation to completion, managing scope, schedule, and budget to install acoustic panels. Key responsibilities include coordinating with cross‑functional teams like sales, engineering, and production; serving as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and subcontractors; interpreting technical documents; and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Core responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee all aspects of projects, from the initial kick‑off and planning through execution, delivery, and completion.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and subcontractors, managing relationships and providing regular project updates.
Cross‑functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, including sales, engineering, purchasing, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless project execution and on‑time delivery.
Documentation and Budgeting: Interpret and manage project documents such as scope of work, technical drawings, and specifications. Prepare project estimates and track financial performance.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and escalated and resolve issues to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure that projects comply with all relevant safety regulations and quality standards.
Performance Analysis: Track key project performance indicators (KPIs) and participate in post‑project reviews and "lessons learned" sessions to drive continuous improvement.
Required skills and qualifications
Project Management Experience: Proven experience in project management, ideally within the acoustic or construction industry.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Leadership and Coordination: Ability to lead teams and coordinate effectively across different departments and with external partners.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.
