Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in construction, with at least 4 years handling full project cycle.
  • Experience in high-rise and landed residential projects (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and safety compliance.
  • Familiar with local authority regulations, CCC process, and construction approvals.
  • Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good coordination, leadership, and interpersonal skills to liaise with contractors, consultants, authorities, and internal departments.
  • Willing to work half-day Saturdays and available during weekends when required.
Job Description

Construction Stage

  • Coordinate daily construction activities and ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
  • Monitor progress against project schedule and follow up with contractors to meet timelines.
  • Assist in stage claims and ensure updates are reported to HQ.
  • Review and check drawings, specifications, and method statements for compliance.
  • Highlight discrepancies and coordinate with consultants for resolution.
  • Ensure mock-ups are prepared for quality confirmation.
  • Support site management of IOWs and contractors.
  • Monitor safety compliance and assist in quality audits.
  • Conduct site briefings and updates to IOWs on progress and quality issues.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning before Vacant Possession (VP).
  • Assist QS Department with contractual issues and progress claims.
  • Coordinate infrastructure works to meet authority requirements.
  • Attend site meetings, inspections, and testing with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
  • Evaluate and report on contractor and supplier performance.
  • Prepare and submit site reports to superiors.

Defect Liability Period (DLP) Stage

  • Coordinate smooth handover during VP.
  • Monitor and follow up with contractors on defect complaints.
  • Liaise with Customer Service Department regarding purchaser defect issues.
  • Assist in resolving defect disputes with purchasers.
  • Provide daily reporting on defect progress.
  • Review defect data to support improvement of construction quality in future projects.
