Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure production schedule adherence, inventory management, and continuous improvement in HPU, cycle time, and quality.
- Plan and determine required resources (capacity) to meet production demands and align them with available resources.
- Manage work order dispatching in line with the build plan and drive workmanship and quality improvements.
- Control and optimize direct material usage while maintaining inventories at the desired level.
- Lead employee development initiatives, manage attrition and retention, and coordinate key activities to enhance teamwork and workplace environment.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Policy, customer expectations, safety standards, ESD, cleanroom, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Monitor and achieve performance metrics including HPU, DPPM, cycle time, job closure, cross-training, scrap/reject rates, and attendance.
- Support company initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs.
- Apply risk-based thinking in planning and execution, ensuring compliance with ISO requirements, company rules, and applicable codes.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume, high-mix production environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent.
- Proven involvement in Lean Manufacturing and quality improvement projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
