Job description

The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in directing, planning and organizing all production activities to meet short, medium and long term goals. This role ensures alignment with quality and operational standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

Acting as a key leader, the Production Manager is responsible optimizing production efficiency, nurturing a Safety & Quality mindset, people development and driving best in class performance through the 5 principles (kaizen philosophy) of lean production : Define value, Value stream mapping, Creating flow, Establish pull & continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operation management or similar technical field.

Proven experience as a Production Manager or a similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting with minimum 5 years.

Certification of ISO 9001 (knowledge of quality management system and the International Organization for Standardization's (ISO) Global Standards).

Proven track record for excellent project management as well as employee training in productivity and safety.

Strong Technical knowledge of plant operations, lean principles and new technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Competency in computerized management systems like MES, SAP or similar.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with focus on standardizing processes and ensuring compliance.

Self-starter with strong analytical problem solving and multitasking abilities, thriving under pressure to drive results.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct with Engineering Maintenance team inspections, after every shift, of plant equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and address them proactively.

Overseeing manufacturing and assembly processes.

Ensure "Housekeeping" to vital machines components is carried out after each shift.

Consistently review Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and generate new ones as require.

Liaison with Maintenance Engineering Dept for scheduling routine maintenance to keep running effectively and maintaining quality standard.

Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedule

Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

Motivate, support, provide guidance and train production staff.

Monitor productivity rates, standard and quality control.
