Job description

The Product Quality Control Executive ensures supplier products meet company quality standards. The role works with suppliers to resolve quality issues, support improvements, and ensure timely delivery. Key tasks include audits, corrective actions, and reporting quality data from CRM/WMS systems. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills are required.

Quality Reporting

Prepare and present product quality performance reports, trends, and improvement plans to management and other stakeholders.

Quality Meeting

Hold regular quality meetings (monthly) to ensure suppliers provide effective and complete quality documentation, such as 8D reports including Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action Report from suppliers.

Supplier Performance Monitoring

Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance through quality metrics, such as defect rates and process capabilities.

Cross‑functional Teamwork

Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Marketing, Service, Logistics) to ensure that supplier quality standards align with product design and company requirements.

Product Evaluation Support

Support new product introductions (NPI) and evaluation by working with Marketing to ensure product quality requirements met before production begins.

Service Technical Support

Assist by providing product technical support to field service teams whenever there is a technical support request for any product‑related enquiries or issues. Collaborate with suppliers or QA teams immediately to get the technical feedback to ensure all enquiries/issues can be answered or resolved on time.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Manufacturing/ Quality Assurance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a service‑oriented industry will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical attitude and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance is an advantage.
