Job description
Responsibilities
  • Developing Procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on‑going feasibility.
  • Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Performing suppliers’ management in QCDS and taking improvement activities.
  • Approving supplier purchase allocations and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Controlling the Procurement budget and promoting a culture of long‑term saving on procurement costs.
  • Preparing Procurement reports and ensuring the Procurement KPI target is achieved.
  • Maintaining and fulfilling requirements in the Panasonic Global Procurement system.
  • Managing cost to increase company profit.
  • BCP management, responding to SCM issues and taking speedy action.
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Strictly controlling and managing total supply loss cost.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Master’s Degree, in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools (SAP).
  • In‑depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
