Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Procurement Executive to oversee production purchases and implement procurement strategies in Beranang, Selangor. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics. Strong Excel skills, integrity, and the ability to negotiate are essential. The job requires managing tenders, supplier audits, and developing cost-effective strategies. Candidates must be resourceful and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Procurement, with preference for those from the Construction industry.
• Strong integrity and character; able to handle confrontations.
• Knowledge of local custom and government authorities (Kastam, MITI, MIDA).
• Proficiency in Excel, including strong formula and pivot knowledge.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production and Non-Production purchases effectively.
• Prepare and manage Tender Notices and documents diligently.
• Implement sourcing strategies that help achieve cost savings company-wide.
• Conduct Supplier Audits and handle Commodity Strategies efficiently.
