Job Description
  1. Manage and lead Quantity Surveying and Procurement functions across all company projects.
  2. Assist in preparing project budgets (pre-project) and profit & loss reports (post-project).
  3. Conduct site visits, attend tender briefings, and perform measurements for accurate project costing.
  4. Support procurement and tendering processes including RFPs, sourcing, and proposal compilation.
  5. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and technical specifications for tender submissions.
  6. Evaluate received tenders and prepare formal tender evaluation reports.
  7. Build and maintain an up-to-date supplier/vendor database (product details, pricing, contacts).
  8. Develop standardized costing templates tailored to different installation types or project scopes.
  9. Serve as the main liaison for all procurement-related communications with suppliers and subcontractors.
  10. Create and maintain SOPs for estimation and procurement workflows; ensure documentation aligns with ISO and internal standards.
  11. Provide technical and operational support to the Chief Operating Officer or project team as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in QS and/or Procurement roles (preferably within Solar Industry).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and budgeting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, costing software, and procurement systems.
  • Familiar with ISO documentation and tendering best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
