Position Overview:

The PIE Engineer will hold a crucial role in driving process integration and equipment enhancement initiatives while ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. This role will also involve a focus on motor-related processes, making prior familiarity with motor processes highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Process Integration and Optimization: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless alignment with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards. Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and environmental sustainability.
  • Equipment Selection and Design: Evaluate, select, and design manufacturing equipment and tooling, taking into consideration specific requirements related to motor production. Collaborate with equipment suppliers to ensure the chosen equipment meets industry standards and production needs.
  • Motor Process Expertise: Leverage your understanding of motor manufacturing processes to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements. Identify opportunities to enhance motor-related manufacturing processes in alignment with quality and environmental standards.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Lead efforts to maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards within the realm of process integration and equipment engineering. Ensure accurate documentation of processes, equipment specifications, and compliance-related activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement across manufacturing processes, equipment efficiency, and environmental performance. Implement sustainable solutions that contribute to operational excellence.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to analyze process and equipment performance. Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for process optimization and enhanced equipment reliability.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to educate manufacturing teams on new processes, equipment usage, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Project Management: Take ownership of process integration and equipment enhancement projects. Define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, production, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to ensure a coordinated approach to process integration and equipment optimization.
  • Health and Safety: Uphold a strong commitment to health and safety protocols in all process integration and equipment-related activities.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a significant focus on process integration, equipment design, and motor-related processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards, and experience implementing processes in accordance with these standards.
  • Familiarity with motor manufacturing processes and associated challenges.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, process optimization, and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to address technical challenges.
  • Prior experience with CAD software and simulation tools is advantageous.
