A solution provider in the intralogistics industry is seeking a Pre-Sales Senior Solution Engineer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are seeking a proactive and technically adept Pre-Sales Senior Solution Engineer with expertise in the intralogistics and AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) industry. This role combines sales acumen, project analysis, and technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will excel at identifying client needs, presenting value-driven solutions, and communicating the benefits and trade-offs of different options, ensuring part of a seamless sales process and customers success.
Engage with potential clients together with local SEAO BD Managers / Regional Sales Support to understand their operational challenges and requirements.
Conduct in-depth analysis of client processes, onsite situation, data analysis, etc. to identify areas for optimization through intralogistics and AGV solutions.
Assist local BD Manager / Regional Sales Support in sales process by presenting solutions effectively and addressing client questions with expertise.
Help building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted solutions consultant throughout the sales cycle.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions tailored to client needs.
Provide detailed evaluations of proposed solutions, highlighting both their advantages and potential limitations.
Analyze the competitive solutions in the projects, including investigation with clients, competitor information collection, solution comparison and bidding strategy.
Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and demonstrations tailored to various stakeholder groups, including technical teams, operational leaders, and management.
Present the value proposition and key differentiators of the proposed solutions in a professional manner.
Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure smooth transition from sales to project execution.
Support post-sales activities as needed to maintain client satisfaction and secure future opportunities.
At least with a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Master degree is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in solution design, data analyst, consulting or a similar role within the intralogistics or AGV/AMR industry.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate client needs and propose optimal solutions.
Familiarity with WMS/WCS software, robotics, and logistics automation systems, Experience with simulation or modeling tools.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
