An aerospace manufacturing company based in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a detail-oriented individual for production and work order planning support. This role involves managing work orders within the ERP system, maintaining accurate production documents, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. Candidates should have a diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills are essential for effective cross-department collaboration.

Production & Work Order Planning Support - Support production and material planning activities by creating, releasing, updating, and monitoring work orders in the ERP system. Ensure work orders are accurate, complete, and aligned with the master production schedule, material availability, and capacity plans.
Work Order Management - Manage the full lifecycle of work orders, including creation, revision, closure, and status tracking. Monitor work order progress, WIP status, and exceptions (e.g. shortages, rework, holds), and elevate issues when deviations from plan are identified.
Document Management - Maintain accurate planning-related records including production schedules, material plans, forecasts, and KPI reports in ERP systems and planning tools. Ensure planning documents are controlled, updated, and traceable in accordance with aerospace documentation standards.
Cross-Functional Communication - Act as a planning focal point between Planning, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments. Communicate planning updates, changes, and priorities clearly to ensure timely execution and alignment across functions.
Reporting & Analysis - Prepare planning and performance reports such as schedule adherence, material shortages, WIP status, and delivery performance.
Compliance & Process Adherence - Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures, ERP rules, and aerospace quality requirements (e.g. document control, traceability, and data accuracy). Maintain confidentiality of planning and customer-related information at all times.
Diploma in any discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of work experience in manufacturing industry (if applicable)
Well versed in data analysis and reporting.
Microsoft Skills, intermediate in Microsoft Excel, Power Points, ERP System
Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Develop positive relationships and effective lines of communication with all functions.
Strong presentation skills, strong teamwork and team building skills
