Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly builds according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Handle repetitive assembly tasks such as tightening screws, nuts, and fittings.
• Perform housekeeping and comply with manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.
• Responsible for production and quality output.
• Ensure full and efficient hand‑over to the next shift.
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities.
• Provide training activities for newcomers (buddy system).
• Take part in continuous improvement activities.
• Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by the superior.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Able to work independently.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Able to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Team player with good problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Educational/Certification Requirements

Candidate must possess a technical SKM or Diploma in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field) or an equivalent technical certification.

Experience Requirements

• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred, or prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage; CNC‑related background also acceptable.
• 1–2 years working in a machine shop, assembly clean rooms, semiconductor and/or similar industry.
• Ability to carry heavy loads (up to 20 kg).
• Must be willing to work in a clean‑room environment (wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet, and safety shoes).
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required.

Overnight Travel

Work may require out of town travel depending on assignment (training and meetings).
