Job summary

A leading global technology firm is seeking an Operations Supervisor for a 1-year contract in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves ensuring vendor invoice compliance, preparing shipping instructions, managing container bookings, and verifying Bills of Lading. Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Logistics, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills in English. Experience with SAP is a plus. Role

Operations Supervisor (1 year contract)

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Invoice Verification: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of vendor invoices with the latest tax regulations as directed by the finance department.

Preparation of Shipping Instructions: Create detailed and precise shipping instructions for forwarders to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Container Bookings: Coordinate and manage container bookings for all incoterms and destinations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions.

Draft Bill of Lading (BL) Verification: Review and verify draft Bills of Lading for accuracy, ensuring all details are correct before finalization.

Basic Requirement & Experience

Possess at least a Diploma in Logistics, Transport or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and documentation.

Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Proven expertise in managing logistics operations and handling shipping documentation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Excellent organizational and communication skills - sound knowledge in English (verbal and written)

Experience in SAP system is an added advantage.
