Job summary

A financial services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive and analytical Assistant Manager for Operations Improvement. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency and managing risk through continuous improvement and automation. The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple departments to drive sustainable operational excellence. Key responsibilities include leading process enhancements, conducting quality assurance checks, and supporting management in strategic initiatives. Ideal candidates possess strong analytical skills and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations improvement, process management, QA, audit, or risk/control functions.
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes, SOPs, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in process re-engineering, automation, or system enhancement projects is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end operations improvement initiatives.
  • Perform gap analysis on departmental processes to identify deviations.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
