Job Description
  1. Interfacing with state and local regulatory agencies such as DOSH, MyPharma, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and others to ensure compliance with various factory regulatory requirements.
  2. Developing & implementing various strategies and process improvements for plant operations to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and minimize risk in day to day operations.
  3. Evaluating current methods and procedures of plant operations to determine if it can be improved.
  4. Coordinating with internal staff as well as external suppliers and contractors to ensure a smooth flow of goods and services through the supply chain.
  5. Coordinate with clients to ensure optimal level of client satisfaction and attend to any queries raised by the client on the services rendered.
  6. Monitoring inventory levels and ordering additional supplies when necessary to ensure adequate supply of products to plant operations.
  7. Managing inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of products at all times without overstocking or understocking.
  8. Managing assets such as facilities and equipment, including planning for repairs and replacements.
  9. To carry out overall preventive and corrective maintenance on all the machineries and delivery fleets.
  10. To ensure that all relevant checklist related to the operations and maintenance of the plant are appropriately attended to by the team of technicians and suppliers.
  11. To ensure all machineries pertaining to the operation of plant is in good working order.
  12. To report all current and developing matters pertaining to the operations to the Manager.
  13. Maintain accurate records of operations activities such as productivity of operators, productivity of the machine, chemical consumption, natural gas consumption, electrical consumption, water consumption and others.
  14. To be able to present weekly on the above-mentioned operation activities to the Manager.
  15. To perform any ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the management.

Requirements
  1. Candidate must possess Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  2. At least 1-2 years relevant experience in factory operations related companies.
  3. Experience in liaising with government departments.
  4. High sense of personal responsibility, self-discipline and able to work under minimum supervision.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
  6. Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Both spoken and written.
  7. Computer literate especially proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Advance excel knowledge will be an added advantage.
  8. Must possess own transport and travel when required.
  9. Willing to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays and odd hours when the circumstances arises.
