A company in industrial automation seeks a professional for security and robustness testing of process control systems. Responsibilities include designing secure network architectures, conducting vulnerability assessments, and maintaining compliance with international cybersecurity standards. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience. Certifications such as CCNA or CISSP are advantageous. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. This position is based in Selangor, Malaysia.
Security & robustness testing and audit of process control systems and devices
Assist project team to design and implement security hardening network in project system architecture (such as firewall policy)
Identify known vulnerabilities in systems and devices, conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis in relation to security alerts and incidents and recommend preventive action
Implement and improve cyber security processes, development, testing, commissioning and maintenance throughout the system's lifecycle in accordance to IEC 62443 standard.
Communicate cyber security expectations to internal project team and external vendors and ensure that company's systems and devices are developed to meet international cyber security standard.
Install, test and commission network infrastructure accordingly but not limited to routers, switches, Wi-Fi, firewalls etc.
Provide technical support and diagnose problems through onsite or remotely troubleshooting.
Conduct system acceptance test and update as-built documentations
Keep track of new developments in the network security and industry control security practices and technologies as well as emerging threats and vulnerabilities
Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in process control automation
Expert knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (such as TCP/IP, ARP, ICMP, MRP, etc), and OPC interface (such as OPC-DA, OPC-HAD, OPC-AE)
Hands‑on technical experience and/or CCNA/CCNP/ HCIA/ HCIP certification is advantage.
Team player with excellent communication skills and able to work independently
Quick learner, attention to details and passion for computer network security
Possess industry professional certification such as CISSP, CISA will be an added advantage
