A leading firm in Malaysia is seeking a Material Quote Analyst / Costing Executive to handle costing calculations and support the quotation process. The role involves collaborating closely with team members from engineering and sourcing to ensure accurate cost management. Candidates should have a degree in relevant fields and at least one year of experience, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong mathematical skills. Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Complete a costing calculation for customer RFQ.
• Proactive in seeking cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in the quotation process and ensure timely accuracy.
• Understand assembly process flow with engineering.
• Maintain the Costing QMS database.

Job description

Material Quote Analyst / Costing Executive

Complete a costing calculation (customer RFQ) within the frame target fix by management.

Proactive to seek cost saving opportunity internally and externally.

To assist on quotation process and provide quotation in time manner and accuracy.

Work closely with team member (Engineering & Sourcing).Getting better understanding with engineer on assembly process flow. Work closely with sourcing to have the BOM cost in time manner and accuracy.

Quotation documentation filing for record purpose.

Work with logistic department on freight cost calculation.

May need support on budgetary quotation if necessary.

To maintain the Costing QMS data base from time to time. Ensure the latest data update If Assembly price matrix &BOM cost have changes.

To perform other duties or tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.

At least 1Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
