A leading automotive dealership in Malaysia seeks a Marketing Executive to implement strategic marketing campaigns and enhance brand visibility. The role involves managing social media, coordinating marketing events, and collaborating with internal teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong digital marketing skills and creativity are essential for driving engagement and lead generation.
Implement marketing campaigns as per the marketing strategy set by the Marketing Manager.
Brief the social media team on campaign requirements, ad placements, and content needs to ensure alignment with marketing objectives.
Assist in the development of promotional materials, including brochures, banners and digital assets.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights for improvement.
Coordinate and execute marketing events, roadshows, and brand activations planned by the Marketing Manager.
Handle event logistics, including setup, vendor coordination, branding, and custom experience management.
Liaise with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure smooth event execution.
Assist in managing guest lists, invitations, and on-ground engagement activities.
Assist in coordinating collaborations with lifestyle brands, influencers, and media partners.
Support the execution of partnership deliverables, ensuring brand alignment.
Help manage sponsorship agreements and activations as directed by the Marketing Manager.
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities and events.
Manage marketing inventory, including merchandise, event materials and promotional assets.
Assist in budget tracking for events and marketing campaigns.
Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, socialmedia, email, events) to promote dealership services, special offers, and inventory.
Enhance the dealership’s brand visibility through creative content, advertising, and Public relations efforts. Ensure all marketing efforts reflect the company’s core values and objectives.
Develop strategies to generate high-quality leads. Implement targeted online and offline campaigns, including email marketing, SEM/SEO, and social media marketing, to attract potential customers.
Manage the dealership’s social media profiles and online reviews. Respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages across platforms. Drive engagement and build relationships with online communities.
Work with agencies, media outlets, and internal teams to plan and execute advertising campaigns (print, radio, digital ads, etc.). Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
Work closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure marketing activities support sales objectives and enhance the customer experience.
Experience: 2+ years in marketing, preferably in the automotive, retail, or sales industry. Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), SEO/SEM, email marketing, and Google Ads.
Creative & Analytical Skills: Ability to think creatively and strategically. Skilled in analyzing marketing data to measure campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for a variety of audiences.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing software/tools (Google Analytics, social media management tools, CRM systems, email marketing platforms).
Desired Qualities: Strong passion for the automotive industry and understanding of market trends. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Hours: Full-time position, with occasional evening and weekend work for events or promotions.
