Overview

A Manufacturing Operator is responsible for assembling and inspecting electronic components and products. They follow detailed instructions or schematics to ensure quality and accuracy in production. Operators use various tools and equipment in a production environment while maintaining safety and efficiency. They also assist supervisors with continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual PCB assembly and hand soldering with knowledge of IPC Class II requirements
• Assemble THT components for wave soldering
• Inspect PCBAs with optical inspection systems based on predefined criteria
• Document inspection results
• Rework PCBAs and components

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM level or certificate in any field
• 3 years’ experience in related field
• Experience in PCB assembly and hand soldering
• IPC Certification Class II or higher (Certified IPC7711/7721) would be an advantage
• Able to read and understand work instructions
• High quality awareness
• Good communication skills
• Able to perform shift work where required
