A leading global manufacturing firm located in Nilai is seeking an experienced leader to manage plant operations effectively. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in operations or manufacturing management, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards. This role involves driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive work environment. Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations to achieve customer delivery, quality, safety, and financial performance targets.
Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, disciplined execution, and performance management against key metrics.
Create a positive and inclusive work environment that enables employee engagement, development, and career growth.
Implement, sustain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System in alignment with Emerson standards.
Ensure full compliance with local legal requirements, Emerson corporate policies, and internal governance standards.
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing support of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs.
Formulate and execute short- and long-term strategic plans to support business growth and operational sustainability.
Oversee shared service functions across the Nilai campus to ensure effective service delivery and alignment.
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and external agencies to support business objectives.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in Operations, Quality, or Manufacturing management.
Proven ability to drive operational performance and deliver customer satisfaction against defined metrics.
Strong capability in developing and executing strategic plans aligned with business objectives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across employees, senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.
Experience leading multi-functional manufacturing teams in a global or matrix organization.
Strong knowledge of Quality, EHS, and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.
Track record of driving cultural transformation and employee engagement initiatives.
