Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR initiatives and strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Advise department heads on organizational structure and manpower planning.
- Design and implement employee retention initiatives.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate selection, interview arrangements, and onboarding.
- HR Compliance & Policies: Develop, update, and communicate HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and company values. Policies development and implementation. Maintain HR documentation, including employee handbooks, contracts, and compliance records.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee monthly payroll and benefits enrolment; take initiative in compensation benchmarking and job evaluations.
- Employee Relations and Compliance: Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, and manage HR policies and procedures. Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Organizational Development: Identify and address organizational development needs, including training and development programs. Lead change management initiatives to support business growth and transformation. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and systems.
- Performance Management: Handle the full cycle of the performance management process; provide guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years or more in HR management.
- Energetic and adaptable to a fast-paced startup environment.
- Proven experience in managing industrial relations and handling employee grievances.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in HR operations within F&B retail industries is an advantage.
