Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager to oversee the entire HR functions, including recruitment and compliance with Malaysia Labor Laws. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Human Resources or related fields. Responsibilities also include budget preparation and providing administrative support to the management. Proficient communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential. This position is based at the Kuala Lumpur office.

Job description

Oversee and administerthe full spectrum of Human Resource and administrative functions that include recruitment, selection and placement of staff, workers and foreign workers, employee engagement, performance management, training & development and Industrial Relation (IR) related matters.

Ensure compliance with Malaysia Labor Laws, immigration regulations, industrial relations requirements and statutory obligations (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD, minimum wages order, etc)

Responsible for ensuring that the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized.

Responsible for preparing and monitoring the department budget including the control of manpower budget and HR internal equity.

Act as subject matter for Human Resource and provide advice to the management on the latest HR practice and any regulatory requirements set by the authorities.

Partnering with the operation team to increase human capital productivity and resolving issues relating to human resource matters.

Ensuring proper conduct of business activities to achieve goals set by the management.

Provide administrative support to the company, for e.g. purchase and upkeep and maintenance of office/ equipment/ fixed assets, ensure sufficient stationery stock.

Carry out any special projects or ad-hoc assignment as and when required/instructed by Management.


What you will need to have?

Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Relations or equivalent.

At least 5 years’ of relevant working experience in similar capacity.

Good knowledge in general administrative services such as assets, procurement process, copiers, insurance, telcos.

Good rapport with related government agencies.

Provide excellent administrative support to Management.

Proficient in both spoken and written in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Good communication and interpersonal skill with strong leadership.

Able to work under pressure and multi task.

Successful candidate will be based at Kuala Lumpur Office.
