Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Group Budgetary Control to join our dynamic team at AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd. In this full-time, office-based role based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, you will play a vital part in overseeing the company's budgetary control processes and ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Projection/Forecast and Budgeting: Review annual plan submitted by business units; Review annual investment plan submitted by business units; Implement effective budgetary management system.
  • Actual business unit / company performance tracking, monitoring and review: Track actual performance against key performance indicators set including the progress of tasks against its planned timeline; Prepare and track actual performance of each business unit against its planned budget; Ensure and control the expenses are raised in compliance with company's policy and relevant approval matrix; Custodian/maintenance for IO and proper assignment of IO for each request to ensure capex and expenses are within budget/plan of each by business units; Review and analyse current process to improve work efficiency.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar budgetary control or financial planning role, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in using financial software and data analysis tools
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
