Responsibilities

• Conduct meetings with executives on outstanding work orders.
• Report to VP – Engineering on major repairs and incidents.
• Liaise with end users for work requests.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the workplace.
• Delegate work to executives and supervisors.
• Manage staff overtime, performance, and productivity.
• Attend Hotel Operations Meeting.
• Attend SAP-PR release within authority limit.
• Maintain staff discipline.
• Conduct job briefings and training.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements.

To ensure smooth day‑to‑day operation at the Engineering Department and to provide engineering function support to our users in line with the company’s cost savings policy, to manage R&M building maintenance in accordance with EIMS procedure and maintain good relationships between engineering staff and engineering management.

Daily tasks include:

• Conduct meeting with executives on outstanding work orders and operational matters
• Report to VP – Engineering on major repair and abnormal happenings
• To liaise with end users for work request
• To ensure cleanliness and safety in work place
• Delegate work to executives / supervisors
• To manage staff overtime, performance and productivity
• To attend Hotel Operations Meeting
• To attend SAP‑PR release within the authority limit
• Maintain staff discipline
• Conduct job briefing and training
• To ensure compliance of legal requirement
• To ensure compliance of engineering IMS requirement

Job requirements

• • A bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or its equivalent
• • At least 8 years relevant working experience in R&M building maintenance or related field with 3 years in management level
• • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• • Willing to base at Resorts World Genting, Pahang
