Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performing scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of food and beverage equipment, including kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, HVAC systems and production machinery.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing and resolving issues with equipment and facilities to minimize operational disruption and downtime. Perform minor on-site repairs on a variety of items including plumbing, electrical fixtures, doors, locks, and furniture, and manage the scheduling and oversight of major repairs performed by contractors.
  • Preventive Maintenance Programs: Implementing and executing routine maintenance schedules and checklists to ensure equipment is in optimal condition.
  • Work Order Management: Documenting all maintenance activities, equipment service, and inventory levels for future reference and analysis. Responding to and completing maintenance work orders from various departments in a timely manner.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all maintenance work and facility upkeep complies with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining an adequate stock of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies. Track labor and materials used, and report on the overall condition of the property to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with kitchen, retail, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and address facility issues, to ensure smooth operations and to address maintenance needs.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate: Certificate / Diploma in M&E, Preferably Non-Executive specializing in Electrical or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in equipment maintenance or service engineering. Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly resolve technical issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to maintenance and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communication: Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with other staff members.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work orders, and maintain a well-organized work environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with food and beverage operations, kitchen equipment, and related health and safety standards.
