Job description

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance in and around the school facilities.
• Performs minor and major repair of all building and equipment (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of licensed maintenance workers).
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspects air-conditioner, replace broken tiles, repairs and replace broken furniture.
• Replace broken windows; repairs doors, door locks and closer, doors knobs and install window blinds.
• Performs various maintenance and custodial duties such as installation and repair to fixtures in restrooms, labs and classrooms.
• Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems; replaces a variety of bulbs and other electrical accessories.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Repairs electrical equipment and control circuits, replaces faulty electrical switches, electrical locks and control panels to maintain building security.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required, assists with the renovation/ remodeling of buildings, repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures.
• Maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures and submit maintenance weekly report.
• Ensure to apply Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and ISO procedures in delivering the maintenance assistance and keep record of performed duty accordingly.
• Monitoring the Security Guard Tour System
• Rounding school compound to ensure school fence has no hole.
• School property inventory and management.
• All other duties as assigned and appropriate.
