Role Overview
Lead and manage all M&E QS functions, including cost estimation, tender evaluations and contract administration.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all M&E QS functions, including cost estimation, tender evaluations and contract administration.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify cost, risk and compliance factors.
- Oversee the preparation of BOQ, cost plans, variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiating, and evaluating subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams on contractual and commercial matters.
- Lead, guide, and develop the QS team to deliver high quality output and meet deadlines.
- Prepare management reports, cost forecasts and commercial recommendations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7-11 years of QS experience in the M&E construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems.
- Proven experience in managing contract matters, procurement and project cost control.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and commercial awareness.
