Position: Logistics Manager (Chemicals)

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Team Size: 10 Direct Reports

Our client, a global leader in the water treatment, hygiene, industrial solutions, and environmental sustainability sector, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize end‑to‑end warehouse and logistics operations in Malaysia.

This role oversees receiving, warehousing, storage, distribution, and export shipments while driving operational accuracy, delivery efficiency, cost optimisation, and global process alignment. You will lead a dedicated logistics team and ensure day‑to‑day operations meet the organisation’s KPIs, service standards, and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate is strategic yet hands‑on — someone who excels in managing fast‑paced logistics environments, improving warehouse performance, and leading teams towards operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, put‑away, storage, picking, distribution, and export handling
  • Ensure timely and accurate domestic deliveries to meet turnaround KPIs and customer commitments
  • Strategise and improve logistics workflows, productivity, and space utilisation in alignment with global best practices
  • Manage and mentor a team of 5, fostering a high‑performance culture
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, stock movement, and documentation integrity
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and audit requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost efficiency and delivery performance
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support supply chain planning, customer service, procurement, and global logistics teams
