Job summary

A developing legal firm in Puchong is looking for a Litigation Clerk, Chambering Student, or Paralegal to support various legal proceedings. Roles include administrative tasks, assisting in Court, and drafting legal documents. Candidates should possess strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a good command of Microsoft Office. Qualifications

LITIGATION CLERK/ CHAMBERING STUDENT/ PARALEGAL
A LITIGATION CLERK

Carry out general administrative tasks and clerical work for Civil Litigation and other matters.

Familiar with the Court e-filing system and the procedure.

Able to comply with strict timelines, maintain a diary, and be attentive to Court dates.

Maintain proper administration of files and correspondences.

B CHAMBERING STUDENT

Assist lawyers in Court for Case Managements, Hearings and/or Full Trials.

Draft and peruse Cause Papers, documents and legal correspondence.

Attend meetings and liaise with clients.

Conduct legal research.

C PARALEGAL

Draft and peruse Cause Papers, documents and legal correspondence.

Attend meetings and liaise with clients.

Conduct legal research.

Maintain proper administration of files and correspondences.

Overview of Organisation:

A vibrant and growing firm established in 2023 primarily involved in general Civil Litigation (debt recovery, family law, estate administration, employment, construction etc).

Also deals with conveyancing works and drafting of various corporate agreements.
