Job summary

A leading global hospitality company seeks a Chief Engineer for its Double Tree hotel in Lumut, Malaysia. You will manage maintenance and repair operations to ensure effective and efficient performance in line with all hotel policies. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years in hotel services, including 3 years as a Chief Engineer, and possess specialized knowledge in various engineering fields related to hotel facilities. Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in hotel/building services or relevant engineering fields.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Chief Engineer role or 5 years in Assistant Chief Engineer role in a 5-star hotel.
• Specialized knowledge on water treatment, hydraulics, mechanics, HVAC, and other building services.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and repair of hotel buildings and grounds.
• Supervise Engineering department operations and staff training.
• Ensure efficient and cost-effective system maintenance and repairs.
