Job Title: Lead, Creative & Content Marketing
Reports To: Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications (Travel Services)
Role Purpose: We are seeking a Creative and Content Marketing professional to lead our Creative Team in crafting innovative, forward-thinking marketing strategies, ensuring consistent and engaging creative communication across all channels while elevating our brand and marketing efforts to new heights. The ideal candidate will possess an exceptional blend of creative flair and strategic insight, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and guide a diverse team of art directors, designers, copywriters, and specialists across social media and multimedia platforms. This role is ideal for creative and business-minded individuals with a proven track record of leadership, innovative thinking, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Accountability
- Recruit, train, mentor and lead a team of creative professionals to deliver outstanding creative and content output for the Travel Services Team while fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Provide strategic guidance and direction on creative communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives.
- Develop and execute the overall creative vision and strategy for marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media and video.
- Collaborate with the Product and Digital Marketing team to design and implement advertising and promotional campaigns as part of a comprehensive 360-degree integrated marketing strategy.
- Manage the creative process for both digital and non-digital projects, overseeing the production of all marketing deliverables and ensure a cohesive visual and thematic style across all projects and campaigns, maintaining brand integrity and consistency.
- Conduct post-mortem performance reviews to evaluate campaign effectiveness, focusing on key metrics such as Click-Through Rate (CTR) and conversion rate to optimise future outcomes and deliver a strong return on investment (ROI).
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in the creative industry, consumer behaviour and market dynamics to inform creative strategies and ensure relevance in messaging.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends and consumer needs, evaluating competitors and industry benchmarks.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind creative decisions.
- Engage with creative agencies, guiding the team to curate the right work and ensure timelines are met effectively.
- Manage the allocated creative budget, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently. Oversee outsourcing requirements and ensure that expenditures align with the budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
- 8 years of working experience in Marketing, Advertising or Communications
