Job description

In charge of the Layer and Pullet Farm production operation by managing and supervising a group of subordinates to ensure smooth running of day-to-day operation.

Implementation of flock health programs for layer chickens and pullets to avoid the spreading of diseases and ensure consistent product quality.

Monitor and improve key production metrics including feed conversion ratio (FCR), growth rates, mortality, and overall productivity.

Regularly check and determine the appropriateness of feed consumption and water intake level to ensure a good diet at layer and pullet farms.

Manage proper hygiene and cleanliness level to ensure high standards biosecurity control.

Lead problem-solving initiatives related to disease outbreaks, equipment failures, and environmental challenges.

Collaborate with veterinary, nutrition, and maintenance teams to enhance flock health and housing conditions.

Provide ongoing performance review, guidance and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities.

Maintain accurate production records and generate regular performance reports for senior management.

REQUIREMENT

Candidates with min 6 years in Poultry Farm industry with preferable in Layer Farm experience.

Preferable with Degree/Diploma in Animal husbandry Science, candidate without the above education qualification but possessed years of experience in managing layer farm also encourage to apply.

Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and crisis management skills.

Strong leadership skills and able to motivate all levels of team members.

Good in communication and interpersonal skill and able to manage a large group of subordinates.
