  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing vegetables and meats according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including regular cleaning of equipment and surfaces.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers under the supervision of senior cooks, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols are followed.
  • Monitor food quality and freshness, ensuring that all ingredients meet the company's standards before use, and report any discrepancies to the head cook.
  • Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
  • Receive and store food supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and labeling to prevent spoilage and maintain freshness.
  • Assist in plating and garnishing dishes according to established presentation guidelines, ensuring visually appealing and appetizing meals.
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining inventory levels, informing the head cook of any shortages or low stock items.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic knife skills and various cooking techniques relevant to Thai cuisine.
  • Possess a strong understanding of food safety principles and practices to ensure the quality and safety of all dishes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely food preparation and service.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, and assist in ordering and receiving deliveries.
