Job summary

A sustainable packaging company in Kedah is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive market expansion in the foodservice industry. The successful candidate will focus on acquiring new B2B clients, managing strategic accounts, and providing consultative selling. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and a familiarity with paper packaging products. Proficiency in English and Malay is mandatory for this position.

Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team, specializing in sustainable, disposable paper packaging. You will be responsible for expanding our market presence across the foodservice industry, targeting diverse F&B chains—from Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) to fast-casual dining brands.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify and acquire new B2B clients within the F&B sector, including restaurant chains, snack franchises, bakeries, hotels, and central kitchens.
  • Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with Procurement Heads and C-level decision-makers at medium-to-large F&B franchise headquarters.
  • Consultative Selling: Act as a packaging consultant, recommending the right eco-friendly specifications that fit the client's operational needs and brand image.
  • Sales Operations: Manage the full sales cycle from pitching to contract closing, and track performance using CRM tools.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the packaging industry or supplying to the HORECA/F&B sector.
  • Track Record: Proven success in managing key accounts and closing deals with chain-store clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the foodservice landscape (QSR, Delivery platforms). Familiarity with paper packaging products is a strong plus.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills with a "hunter" mentality to exceed targets.
  • Language: Proficiency in English & Malay is required.
