Job summary

A technology company in Puchong is looking for a candidate to provide 1st level system support and technical assistance. Responsibilities include developing and debugging web applications while documenting any issues reported by customers. The ideal candidate should hold at least a Higher Secondary certificate and have at least 1 year of IT support experience. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, and fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Job description

Responsible for 1st level system support to customers by providing technical support and bugs fixing.

Navigate computer systems and applications to service our Customers, and enable them to get the most from our online and mobile platforms.

Developing, debugging and supporting web applications which may involve frontend or backend.

Understanding the dynamics and practices in working with development environment versus a production environment.

Document necessary information, such as change request, reported issues, customer feedbacks.

Must have an acute awareness for security and breaches in the web development.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Professional Certificate or equivalent.

Preferably at least 1 year experience in IT support.

Knowledge and understanding of AWS Environment is an added advantage.

Understanding of the full synchronous behavior of MVC design patterns (addon)

Require debugging and problem-solving skills.

Strong sense of urgency, performance-minded and able to work under time constraints.

Required Language (s): English & Mandarin

Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin is preferred as the role requires dealing with Mandarin speaking customers.

5 working days per week.

Willing to work on night shifts, weekends & public holidays
