Job description

Founded by experienced technical individuals, we are a tech startup located in Petaling Jaya. Our primary focus is to provide high-quality Managed Services to our customers.

The standard operating hours for the role is 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the front line support for end customers.
  • Travel to customers' premises to provide on-site support.
  • Keep the customers' documentation up to date.
  • Monitor the customers' IT operating environment, endpoints, servers, network devices and so on.
  • Maintain the customers' IT operating environment to a healthy state by adhering to procedures provided.
  • Support any Microsoft 365 related issues stemmed from the customers' environment.
  • Work on any ad-hoc tasks provided.
Technical Skills Required
  • Understand how network traffic flows to internal and external endpoints according to the OSI Model.
  • Basic understanding of common IT knowledge domains such as networking, operating systems, common commands, hardware, storage, backup & recovery, security, virtualizations.
  • Familiarity with Windows Administration & Active Directory / Entra ID & DS.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in IT Support or proven equivalent.
Non-Technical Skills and Requirements
  • Good work ethics and communication skills. (Respectful, Responsible, Reliable, and have Good Integrity)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good teamwork and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Punctuality and good time management.
  • Must be fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay.
  • Own a car, have a valid driving license, and is fit to drive.
  • Ability to work outside normal working hours occasionally. (Will be paid OT)
  • Able to carry basic IT equipment.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or CCNA.
  • Fundamental knowledge of cloud concepts.
  • Experience self-hosting and maintaining FOSS projects.
  • Familiarity with MacOS and Linux administration.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
  • Experience with ticketing systems.
