Our client is a large conglomerates (IT software) is looking for a Sr Project Manager based in Kuala Lumpur.

You will lead end-to-end delivery of client projects involving smart manufacturing / supply chain/ logistics / ERP applications from planning and deployment to handover and continuous improvement. You’ll coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines and risks, and ensure every project delivers measurable value on the shop floor. Your success is measured not just by “on‑time delivery,” but by real operational impact and customer satisfaction.

Project Planning & Execution

• Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans (schedule, budget, risk register, communication plan).
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodology.
• Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Conduct regular status updates, steering meetings, and demo sessions.
• Manage expectations, change requests, and escalations professionally and promptly.
• Lead and motivate cross‑functional project teams (Business Analysts, Engineers, QA, DevOps).
• Clarify roles, remove blockers, and foster collaboration especially between technical and non‑technical members.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality standards, SLAs, and documentation requirements.
• Drive UAT, sign‑offs, and post‑go‑live support transition.
• Maintain compliance with internal processes and customer contractual obligations.
• Proactively identify, log, and mitigate project risks (technical, resource, timeline, scope).
• Escalate critical issues with recommended solutions to leadership.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Provide weekly status reports including progress, risks, KPIs, and financials.
• Maintain updated project artifacts in Jira/SharePoint.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years managing technical implementation projects — preferably in IIoT / Industry 4.0 / ERP / WMS, MES, SRM or any related automation / industrial softwares.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams and customer‑facing deployments.
• Proficient in Jira, MSProject or similar tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.

Added advantage

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Familiarity with OEE, MTTR, Lean, or Six Sigma
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS IoT), data pipelines, etc.
