Job description

Oversee all company servers, networks, switches, firewalls, and backup systems;

Manage on-premise and cloud environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, Network Attached Storage and Cloud Project Management Servers like ACC/BIM360);

Ensure smooth operation of engineering tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, project document control systems);

Maintain Firewall, VPN and remote access for staff deployed across multiple project locations;

Set up and support IT infrastructure for new project sites, including temporary site offices and container site hubs;

b. Cybersecurity & Data Protection

Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies (password policy, MFA, security patches, endpoint protection);

Manage antivirus, threat monitoring, and vulnerability scans across the organization;

Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for project-critical data;

Oversee access control rights for engineering files, client data, and confidential tender documents;

Ensure cybersecurity compliance for high-tech clients (e.g., semiconductor fabs requiring strict data protection).

c. Digital Engineering & Project Technology Support

Support engineering software installations, licensing, performance optimization (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, CFD, ETAP, Pipeflo, Candy, etc.);

Coordination, monitoring, control and maintenance of server storage, shared drives, CDE (Common Data Environment) performance;

Manage integration of project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, ACC);

Support Engineering & Project team in data visualization pipeline setup via PowerBI and PowerApps integrating into dashboards.

d. Company-wide IT Governance

Develop IT policies (asset management, cybersecurity standards, hardware issuance policy, project data handling guidelines);

Track and manage all IT assets: laptops, workstations, servers, tablets, routers, switches, and software licenses;

Conduct periodic IT audits for compliance and risk mitigation in line with ISO 27001;

Establish SOPs and guidelines for staff.

Identify technology that improves engineering, construction management, and site productivity;

Spearhead initiatives such as: Cloud adoption, digital project dashboards, asset tracking systems, site digitalization (CCTV, access control, IoT, tablets), automation of manual processes;

Work closely with executive leadership to align IT strategies with business growth, new markets, and new project opportunities.

Manage IT vendors, hardware suppliers, and software partners;

Evaluate and negotiate contracts for licenses, maintenance, cloud services, and cybersecurity subscriptions;

Liaise with client IT teams during project onboarding (common in semiconductor clients);

Coordinate with construction site teams to ensure network reliability and secure connectivity.

Requirements:-

Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;

At least 10 years working experience in the related field;

Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, Layer 2/Layer 3), cybersecurity tools and protocols, Windows Server, AD, Office 365 / Azure AD, cloud & On Prem Hybrid infrastructure and CAD/BIM software support;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

High sense of responsibility toward data confidentiality and uptime;

Ability to handle pressure in fast-paced engineering/project environments;

Excellent communication and coordination skills across engineering, construction, commercial, QAQC, and site teams;

Strategic mindset with hands‑on technical capability.
