A fintech company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Application Support Specialist. You will monitor and troubleshoot P2P applications, liaise with vendors to resolve issues, conduct UAT, and support cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in application support or vendor coordination, a diploma or degree in IT, and strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Monitor and troubleshoot P2P application and integrations.
Liaise with application vendors to resolve bugs, apply patches, and validate fixes.
Conduct UAT for new features or compliance-driven changes.
Document integration flows, change logs, and known issues.
Track and analyze transaction performance and system logs.
Handle user requests and support (internal and external).
Support cybersecurity remediation by applying application-level patches/configuration changes.
Participate in disaster recovery and backup planning/testing (application/data scope).
Provide input for weekly/monthly system performance reporting.
Maintain operational readiness documentation for audits.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in application support, integration, or vendor coordination roles.
Familiarity with eKYC and payment systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable coordinating across multiple vendors and preparing compliance records.
Exposure to fintech, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus.
