Senior/Principal Patent Counsel, SEP Litigation

Job responsibilities:

• Identify and prepare patents for litigation, ensuring all assets are ready for legal proceedings.
• Conduct validity and essentiality analysis and prosecute litigation assets, preparing them for legal actions.
• Handle infringement and validity‑related matters and proceedings in patent litigation activities globally.
• Coordinate, guide, and review the work of external counsel, ensuring alignment with company strategies and goals.

Education and experience information:

• A minimum of 10 years of professional hands‑on experience in the patent business, either at a law firm or in‑house, with a focus on patent litigation.
• An Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent, combined with a Patent Attorney or Law qualification.
• Deep understanding of 3GPP technologies and experience in patent litigation.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proactive, result‑oriented mindset.
